01 — Sound familiar?

You love the baking.
Not the admin.

1

"What do I even charge?"

Most home bakers price by guesswork and quietly pay themselves nothing. The toolkit adds up ingredients, packaging, energy and your time, then suggests a price with a real profit.

2

"Is my label even legal?"

Ingredients must go heaviest first with the 14 allergens emphasised. Type your recipe once and the label text is written for you, in order, allergens in capitals.

3

"What will the council ask for?"

Fridge logs, cleaning schedules, supplier records, allergen checks. The printable pack has every sheet ready, so your folder is sorted before the visit.

02 — Inside the spreadsheet

Type your recipe once.
Everything else fills itself in.

What should that cake really cost?

This is the same maths the toolkit uses, on one bake. Move the sliders and watch the price change.

06 — Questions

Asked a lot. Answered.

Do I need Excel?

No. It works in Microsoft Excel 2019 or later, Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets, which is free with any Google account.

How do I get it after paying?

Straight after checkout you're taken to a download page, and a copy of the link is emailed to you. There's nothing to install and no account to create.

I'm just starting out. Is it for me?

Yes. The launch checklist walks you through the first 28 days, from registering with your council to your first sale, and the spreadsheet comes with example recipes so you can see how it works before adding your own.

Does it work in Scotland?

The pricing and labelling tools work anywhere in the UK. The compliance pack follows guidance for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland has its own regulator, Food Standards Scotland, so check their guidance too.

Is this legal advice?

No. It's a tool to help you stay organised and follow the official guidance, with links to every source. Your council's food safety team is the place for advice on your own situation.

Can I get a refund?

Because it's an instant digital download, refunds aren't usually offered once the files have been downloaded. If something doesn't work, get in touch and we'll put it right.
